    This is Us [#405H] This week we are visiting the Emma Prusch Farm Park, not far from downtown San Jose. This was an actual working farm from 1870 until 1969. The Farm is now run by the City of San Jose and the Department of Parks and Recreation. It's a great place to bring kids and learn about life on a farm. We're going play with some animals and we'll learn about some really interesting gardening projects going on here.
    We'll also meet playwright and film director Luis Valdez, the man behind the camera for the films Zoot Suit and La Bamba. Valdez spent part of his childhood not far from here as a migrant farm worker. We'll also meet activist and attorney Carol Ruth Silver. During the early days of the Civil Rights Movement she was one of the original Freedom Riders.

    Doc Martin [#408Z] The Wrong Goodbye Martin and Pauline are surprised by the number of patients coming to see him on the last day before his Surgery closes and he moves to London. Taxi driver Tommy delivers a patient to the Surgery, but complains of migraine headaches himself. Martin checks him for any serious brain conditions, and tells him to make an appointment with the new doctor if the headaches continue. Martin is driving out of Portwenn with the moving men when he sees Tasha fall from the Harbour Day stage. With a little bit of help from a guilty Bert and Al, he is able to diagnose Tasha's medical condition, and is shocked to learn that she is married to taxi driver Tommy, and that he is driving Louisa to her hospital appointment. Louisa's life is in danger. Martin rushes after Louisa, finding her safe at the scene of a road accident caused by Tommy.     Zoboomafoo [#103] Dinosaurs Martin and Chris arrive at Animal Junction determined to build a huge dinosaur model. Zoboo is eager to help out, even though he doesn't know what a dinosaur is. However, once Chris and Martin describe what dinosaurs used to look like, Zoboo's sure he just saw one on the way to Animal Junction. Chris and Martin understand what he means when a monitor lizard arrives for a visit. Rome wasn't built in a day, and it seems unlikely that Chris, Martin and Zoboo's collapse-prone dinosaur model will ever actually be completed. But in the end, the Martinandchrisaurus stands tall for all to see. Jackie discovers an owl pellet - the fur and bone remains of an owl's prey -- and breaks it open to see the bones inside. She's hoping Nila will stay asleep as long as there aren't any loud noises on Sesame Street. Elmo and Telly decide to become the Noise Patrol and keep loud noises away from Nila! They try to use different tools such as binoculars and a megaphone, but Leela explains that the only tools they need are their ears! Elmo and Telly hear sounds coming from animals playing basketball. Luckily, the animals agree to go to the park to play. Next, Elmo and Telly hear Grover blasting a boombox as he breakdances! After a dance-off and a mishap with the controls, Grover realizes that he can't play loud music around a sleeping baby and leaves after putting on his headphones. Next, Elmo and Telly hear hammering from a construction worker who thankfully agrees to leave for lunch. Just when the Noise Patrol is finally enjoying the quiet, Nila wakes up! Leela explains that they actually don't need to be completely quiet. Nila can listen to Leela as she sings her a lullaby. And whenever our heroes put it back together, the hat takes on a fresh, new form. For Pig it becomes a chef's hat; for Bear, an artist's beret; and for Duck, a silly propeller beanie! They soon discover that it isn't a wild rabbit, his name is Snowball and he belongs to Mr. Hinkle's sister. On another day, Caillou and his family are leaving for a picnic in the country but the ride feels very long for Caillou. When they stop at a gas station, Caillou spots some cows in a field next to a picnic area. The family decides to have the picnic there, where they have a close encounter with some cows. Caillou learns about patience when he goes fishing with Daddy and Grandpa at the pier. Being tall is something Cat's friend Treetop Tom knows all about. They meet the giraffe in the So Sunny Savannah, and with the help of Cat's "tallerizers", Nick and Sally are as tall as Tom! They soon learn that being small has its disadvantages.

Abby believes that a kiss will break the spell and turn him back to Prince Oscar. Oscar keeps telling her that he is a Grouch, but she is not convinced. She keeps trying to kiss him and even chases him down into his can. Oscar asks Chris to give him a disguise so Abby won't know it's him, but Abby isn't fooled. Chris comes up with the idea that Oscar should just allow Abby to kiss him in order to prove that he is not a prince. In the end, Abby discovers that Oscar is just Oscar and he just want to be himself. Luckily when they return home Gilbert is waiting for them on the porch.
    * Where I Saw it Last - After a day in the park and a visit to an ice cream parlour with Jeffrey and Jason, Caillou realizes that he has misplaced his new toy car. Mom encourages him to remember where he saw it last. The last place Caillou remembers having it is in the ice cream parlour. When they return Caillou is happy to find that the waitress has his missing car!
    * Lost in the Jungle - Caillou learns all about the jungle at playschool, and decides it would be an exciting place for a game of hide and seek. The other children join in - Leo hides, and the others pretend to be birds, snakes, monkeys and even a lion. Caillou follows the clues until he finally finds Leo, and the brave explorer is happy to see his friend.

Then he takes the storyteller to pirates cove but Emily needs his help taking flour to the bakery. Finally he tries to take the storyteller to Misty Valley but on the way he finds Percy in trouble. By the time of the library opening, Thomas hasn't managed to take the storyteller to see any sights for her story. But the storyteller has a better idea. She decides to write a story all about the day that Thomas helped his friends. Thomas is delighted! When Emily is given the job of working with Whiff, a friendly garbage collection engine, the other engines tease her about her smelly new friend. Emily is embarrassed and tries to keep her distance from Whiff. But every time she gets away, Whiff catches up with her. Emily meets Spencer who's way is blocked by lots of garbage trucks - the ones that Emily was supposed to move with Whiff. Emily feels bad. She tries to move the trucks but finds they are too heavy. She asks Gordon and Spencer to help, but both refuse to move the smelly trucks. Only Whiff is willing to help move the trucks. The Cat takes them to meet Eddy the honeyguide bird. Eddy shows them how he guides humans to bees' nests by making noise and putting on a show. Back at home, Sally and Nick follow Eddy's example and proudly serve their first customer!
    * King of Swing - Swinging from a rope isn't so easy for Sally and Nick.Good thing the Cat knows the king of swing, Charlie the chimpanzee! In the Leafylafoo Rainforest, Charlie teaches them how to use their hands and feet to swing as they help him search for bananas, his favourite food! Back at home, Sally and Nick mimic Charlie and swing across the backyard to where Cat has a surprise snack waiting for them - bananas!

    Zoboomafoo [#106] Swimming A couple of river otters arrive at Animal Junction and the gang gets in the swim of things. Everybody's swimming in the Junction: black jaguars, soft-shelled turtles, African penguins, capybaras, Kratts, and even Zoboo! Since otters love to slide almost as much as they like to swim, the gang builds a slide into the big pond, so the otters can do both. Jackie and her dog Goldie both love swimming in MudPuppy pond. Swimming is great exercise and it's an easy way to get Goldie to take a bath.
