Later, Zoe and Elmo want to sing a song but Zoe wants to sing "Twinkle-Twinkle" and Elmo wants to sing "Row-Row-Row". Voting helped solve the problem last time but this time it's a tie, even with Rocco and Dorothy voting too. Alan explains that since both sides have the same number of votes they need one more voter to decide which one wins. Telly becomes the tie breaker but wants Zoe and Elmo to convince him which to choose. They take turns showing Telly brand new, fun ways to sing their songs. Telly says that it's too hard to decide and wishes they could be voting on something simple like who wants to do "The Triangle Dance". Elmo, Dorothy, Zoe and Rocco all agree that it sounds like fun. Dad shows Caillou a neat trick to call the ducks. When a white rabbit eats a bunch of carrots set aside for a picnic lunch, Caillou and Rosie go looking for him. They soon discover that it isn't a wild rabbit, his name is Snowball and he belongs to Mr. Hinkle's sister. On another day, Caillou and his family are leaving for a picnic in the country but the ride feels very long for Caillou. When they stop at a gas station, Caillou spots some cows in a field next to a picnic area. The family decides to have the picnic there, where they have a close encounter with some cows. Caillou learns about patience when he goes fishing with Daddy and Grandpa at the pier. So when George and the Man with the Yellow Hat visit Uncle Tam in Scotland, George is very happy to be able to practice his swing at the Castle Golf Course. But then a pesky squirrel steals his ball and runs off, and George is sent on a wild chase throughout the castle. Abby and Zoe get an idea! What if the letter "S" finds seven words that begin with the letter "S." Abby, Zoe, and the letter "S" search for seven "S" words and then sing a song about the words. Afterward, Abby performs number seven magic. Abby makes the number seven rise out of Elmo's hat, seven butterflies appear out of Elmo's ear, and, oh no!, seven Elmos appear instead of seven pumpkins! Luckily, Abby turns seven Elmos back into one Elmo and tries her magic trick again. She succeeds! Abby turns one pumpkin into seven pumpkins. Hooray! Luckily when they return home Gilbert is waiting for them on the porch.
  * Where I Saw it Last - After a day in the park and a visit to an ice cream parlour with Jeffrey and Jason, Caillou realizes that he has misplaced his new toy car. Mom encourages him to remember where he saw it last. The last place Caillou remembers having it is in the ice cream parlour. When they return Caillou is happy to find that the waitress has his missing car!
  * Lost in the Jungle - Caillou learns all about the jungle at playschool, and decides it would be an exciting place for a game of hide and seek. The other children join in - Leo hides, and the others pretend to be birds, snakes, monkeys and even a lion. Unable to slow down he unknowingly leaves blocks all over the tracks... worst of all he can't stop before the track ends and his front wheels end up hanging over the unfinished bridge. Once back on track, Thomas puts everything right. Gordon is a very proud engine and thinks he knows the railway on Sodor better than anyone, but when taking a short cut he gets lost and won't ask for help. Crashing into Ben, Gordon causes a big log to fall onto the lower track, blocking Stanley's route. In the Leafylafoo Rainforest, Charlie teaches them how to use their hands and feet to swing as they help him search for bananas, his favourite food!   Zoboomafoo [#110] Climbing There are a lot of climbing creatures and they all have different features that help them climb. A tree frog has sticky pads on its feet, a spider has eight legs, and a kinkajou has a prehensile tail that she uses like a fifth arm when climbing through a tree. When a playful band of coatis turns up at Animal Junction, the gang marvels at how sharp claws and a long tail helps a coati climb trees with the greatest of ease. Coatis are better climbers than Kratts because they're built for it. Jackie and the Animal Helpers rescue a climber-in-training, a kitten who's stuck up in a tree.   American Masters [#1903Z] Woody Guthrie: Ain't Got No Home Essentially every American who has listened to the radio, or gone to summer camp, knows Woody's This Land is Your Land. The nation's signature folk singer/song-writer, Woody's music has been recorded by everyone from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to the Irish rock band U2. Originally blowing out of the Dust Bowl in 1930s Depression Era America, he blended vernacular, rural music and populism to give voice to millions of downtrodden citizens. Woody's prolific music, poetry and prose were politically leftist, uniquely patriotic, and always inspirational. He joined music with traditional oral history and was central to generations of folk music revival.   American Masters [#2501] Phil Ochs: There But for Fortune One of the most politically active singer-songwriters to emerge in the 1960's anti-Vietnam War era, Phil Ochs was inspired by Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, but also by Elvis Presley and John Wayne. He was a journalism student in college, which, perhaps, informed the extent of his protest lyrics -- always witty, topical and insightful, always slightly haunting -- such songs as I Ain't Marching Anymore, Love Me I'm a Liberal, Outside of a Small Circle of Friends, Power and the Glory, The War Is Over, and There But for Fortune, famously covered by Joan Baez -- are inseparable from those times. Ochs was vocal and visible, at political rallies, the Newport Folk Festival and the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago. A cohort of Bob Dylan's and Abbie Hoffman's, his ultimate disillusionment with the government and several of his heroes -- and a familial tendency to bi-polar disease -- led to his tragic suicide in April 1976. duration 1:26:46   STEREO TV14 (Secondary audio: none)
