    Sesame Street [#4304H] Baby Bear Comes Clean Baby Bear is ready to go to Granny's house with Papa Bear. He has a nice, white shirt on that Papa Bear tells him to keep clean while he gets his sister dressed. While Baby Bear waits for them to get ready, Telly passes by with a bright purple ice cream cone in his hand. It's Baby Bear's favorite flavor so he takes a tiny, careful taste, but some of the ice cream still spills on him and leaves a big purple stain on his white shirt! Baby Bear and Telly wonder how they can get the stain out. They try many different techniques such as wiping it with a napkin, pounding it with a rock, and vacuuming it off, but everything they try just makes it worse. Next, Telly has an idea to use Zoe's purple paint to cover the stain so Baby Bear will now have a purple shirt. They paint the shirt, but realize that it is going to take at least two hours to dry! Abby appears and offers to practice her new color changing spell. She waves her wand and the shirt turns back to white. But all of a sudden, the shirt comes to life and races off! Baby Bear doesn't know what to do. Gordon comes by and advises him to tell Papa Bear the truth about what happened to his shirt. Even though Baby Bear is worried that Papa Bear will be upset, he tells him the truth about what happened anyway. Papa Bear says that it's okay and thanks him for telling the truth. Now Caillou and Rosie get to pick out their very own stickers for brushing their teeth and cleaning up the toys in their bedrooms! When Caillou dresses himself, he learns that when you put your pants on backwards, you can change and put them on right. When he sees Dad and Grandpa in suits and ties for a big party, he changes into his grownup clothes too. Jonas, a friend of Dad's and a real cowboy, has invited the family to visit his ranch. Alan helps them solve the problem by having them raise their hands for the one they like best. After counting up the votes, the square wins by one. Later, Zoe and Elmo want to sing a song but Zoe wants to sing "Twinkle-Twinkle" and Elmo wants to sing "Row-Row-Row". Voting helped solve the problem last time but this time it's a tie, even with Rocco and Dorothy voting too. Alan explains that since both sides have the same number of votes they need one more voter to decide which one wins. Telly becomes the tie breaker but wants Zoe and Elmo to convince him which to choose. They take turns showing Telly brand new, fun ways to sing their songs. Telly says that it's too hard to decide and wishes they could be voting on something simple like who wants to do "The Triangle Dance". Elmo, Dorothy, Zoe and Rocco all agree that it sounds like fun. Caillou gets an introduction to what it means to be handicapped, when, at the pool, he meets Tammy, a girl a few years older, who happens to be in a wheelchair. It's raining outside but there is no stopping Caillou! Since no one wants to join him, he goes outside to play in his new froggie boots, his rain coat and hat. Rheneas and Skarloey offer to help Sir Handel, but he wants to be sure he finds the best engines for the job. Mighty Mac, Rusty, Duncan and Peter are all very able to help, but Sir Handel keeps looking for his ideal helpers, until Thomas arrives to collect the logs. Sir Handel realizes that he's spent so long looking for the best engines to help that he hasn't even started on the job! Luckily Sir Handel sees that his friends ARE the best engines to help and when he asks them to begin work right away, the job is soon done. It's the day of the country show and engine rally in the hills. Madge the snub-nose lorry is to pull the brass band! Interfering Madge takes it upon herself to make sure the engineers get the other engines sparkling clean for the rally. Madge take such an interest that she doesn't get herself clean in good time. She rushes and gets everyone else muddy again in the process! The engineers get to work cleaning again - and this time Madge leaves them to it.     • KQET (DT25) Over the Air: Wed 8/27

      We are aware of the break-up issues for our DT25 Over the Air signal in the Monterey/Salinas area. This will also affect viewers of any cable or satellite signal provider using that transmitter as their source. Engineers are working on the problem.

    • Week of 8/25: Sutro Tower work (including KQED 9 Over the Air)
