1:00 amHappiness Advantage with Shawn Achor, The Positive psychology expert Shawn Achor demonstrates how to use the latest scientific research on happiness to find success in every aspect of our lives. Most people believe that once they land that long-awaited promotion, make more money, get their kids into the right schools, lose a few pounds, or find a meaningful relationship, then they'll be happy. But based on recent discoveries in the fields of positive psychology and neuroscience, Achor shows us that that formula for happiness is wrong. In fact, it's backwards.
It turns out, happiness actually fuels success, not the other way around. This is what Achor calls The Happiness Advantage. When we become more positive, our brain becomes more engaged, creative, motivated, energetic, resilient and productive. The result is an advantage over the entirety of our life - improving success at work, creating better health, better relationships with our loved ones, and creating a happier home. duration 1:28:37 STEREO TVPG
2:30 amLeonard Cohen Live In London For over four decades, Leonard Cohen has been one of the most important and influential songwriters of our time, a figure whose body of work achieves greater depths of mystery and meaning as time goes on. His songs have set a virtually unmatched standard in their seriousness and range. Sex, spirituality, religion, power - he has relentlessly examined the largest issues in human lives, always with a full appreciation of how elusive answers can be to the vexing questions he raises.
But those questions, and the journey he has traveled in seeking to address them, are the ever-shifting substance of his work, as well as the reasons why his songs never lose their overwhelming emotional force. Documentaries, awards, tribute albums and the ongoing march of artists eager to record his songs all acknowledge the peerless contribution Cohen has made to what one of his titles aptly calls "The Tower of Song." duration 1:27:58 STEREO

7:00 amSesame Street [#4280H] Rhyming Block Mother Goose is visiting Sesame Street and needs to write three new nursery rhymes by the end of the day, but she fears she has become a rusty rhymer. Elmo and Abby say they are great rhymers, and they offer to help. Mother Goose explains that to write really good nursery rhymes, you need conflict - when someone wants something or needs something very badly. Just then Alan comes out with 13 fresh cookies that he made for a friend's birthday. Cookie Monster is having a hard time resisting them and Mother Goose sees the conflict. She starts writing and gets stuck rhyming "plate," but Abby comes to the rescue with the word "eight." Mother Goose continues with her rhyme, as Cookie Monster gobbles up the cookies, but this time she can't figure out a rhyme for "done." Once again, Abby calls out a rhyming word - "none!" Elmo feels upset that Abby keeps getting the rhymes faster than him, but Mother Goose assures him that she has two more to come up with. The next rhyme is about Super Grover trying to open a stuck pickle jar for Alan, and Elmo rhymes the next word. But Abby gets the one after that, and Elmo gets more upset. He and Abby get into an argument about it. Their conflict gives Mother Goose an idea for her third rhyme, which is about Elmo and Abby wanting to help, but ending up fighting instead. Together they come up with the rhyming words Mother Goose needs, and they realize that arguing is silly because they are both best friends and good rhymers. duration 58:46 STEREO TVY (Secondary audio: DVI)
