Elmo and Abby say they are great rhymers, and they offer to help. Mother Goose explains that to write really good nursery rhymes, you need conflict - when someone wants something or needs something very badly. Just then Alan comes out with 13 fresh cookies that he made for a friend's birthday. Cookie Monster is having a hard time resisting them and Mother Goose sees the conflict. She starts writing and gets stuck rhyming "plate," but Abby comes to the rescue with the word "eight." Mother Goose continues with her rhyme, as Cookie Monster gobbles up the cookies, but this time she can't figure out a rhyme for "done." Once again, Abby calls out a rhyming word - "none!" Elmo feels upset that Abby keeps getting the rhymes faster than him, but Mother Goose assures him that she has two more to come up with. The next rhyme is about Super Grover trying to open a stuck pickle jar for Alan, and Elmo rhymes the next word. But Abby gets the one after that, and Elmo gets more upset. He and Abby get into an argument about it. Their conflict gives Mother Goose an idea for her third rhyme, which is about Elmo and Abby wanting to help, but ending up fighting instead. Together they come up with the rhyming words Mother Goose needs, and they realize that arguing is silly because they are both best friends and good rhymers. duration 58:46   STEREO TVY (Secondary audio: DVI)
