2:00 amCatholicism [#103H] Our Tainted Nature's Solitary Boast: Mary, the Mother of God Father Barron correlates the Catholic Faith's testimony to the revelation of God in Christ with the vivid practices of reverence offered to his Mother. Mary is explained as "an on-going presence, an actor in the life of the Church." Father Barron journeys to the humble remains of Mary's house in Nazareth, to the ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus and to the great Marian shrines of Lourdes and Guadalupe to explain the Church's teachings about Mary as the Mother of God, the Immaculate Conception and the dogma of the Assumption. duration 56:46 STEREO TVG

In telling each man's story, Father Barron shows how the Holy Spirit worked through all the apostles and disciples to build the Church. 4:00 amHe Touched Me: The Gospel Music of Elvis Presley The intensity of Elvis Presley's love and devotion for gospel music is revealed in this documentary. Narrated by veteran newscaster Sander Vanocur, Presley's story is told with vintage photos, interviews and video footage, including some never-before-available scenes of Elvis's impromptu offstage gospel performances. Many interviews reveal that Presley's unshakable commitment to gospel music was tested many times by producers and record label executives, who were later to be surprised when the Grammys overlooked Presley's No. 1 hits in favor of three of his best gospel performances. duration 59:12 STEREO

5:00 amAdventists This program explores the realities, and some of the ironies, of one of the few American-born religions: Seventh-day Adventism. Historical reenactments offer a glimpse into the church's beginnings, including its defining moment: the mid-19th century event known as the Great Disappointment. Several decades later, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg built a breakfast food empire and pioneered a new kind of healthcare facility based on Adventist principles of a healthy lifestyle: a plant-based diet; regular exercise; the avoidance of alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs, and a holistic focus on education and community life. duration 56:46 STEREO TVG (Secondary audio: DVI)

7:30 amSesame Street [#4277H] Falling Leaves It is a windy autumn day on Sesame Street, and Chris, Elmo, and Rosita hear Stinky calling from underneath a pile of leaves. They dig him out but he says that it will just happen again since he gets covered with leaves every single day. Rosita suggests that they try to figure out which tree the leaves are coming from by taking a leaf that fell on Stinky and comparing it to leaves on some of the surrounding trees to find a match. So the leaf detectives start their investigation by counting the points on their leaf and comparing the color, shape, and size with other leaves until they find one that looks the same. When they discover which tree the leaf came from, Leela and Chris explain that the tree is deciduous, which means it will lose its leaves every fall and grow them back every spring. Since Stinky doesn't want to move, they all think of ways that they can protect him from the falling leaves. First Elmo and Rosita try an umbrella, but Stinky explains that it's not good since it blocks the sunlight. Then they try a big clear bowl that will let in the sunlight, but Stinky tells them that it will keep out the raindrops that he needs. Then they spot some mosquito netting that will let sunlight and rain through but keep the leaves out. Using the netting, small tools and some wood, they build the perfect covering for Stinky and solve the problem! He is so happy that he has such great friends to help him. duration 58:46 STEREO TVY (Secondary audio: DVI)
