After learning about the causes of moonquakes, the kids attempt to build a Moonquake-proof structure. / Sean and Sydney are planning to take Jet to the DSA Open House the upcoming weekend. The Earth kids are nervous that he will get in front of a crowd of strangers and forget to keep the secret that he's an alien from Bortron 7. After a hilarious outburst from Jet, the kids are motivated to try to "train" him to behave less like an alien from outer space, and more like a "regular Earthie kid." The kids arrive to help, and discover that by linking the two-dimensional rods together into certain geometrical patterns they actually create a surprising three-dimensional shape that leads directly to unraveling the mystery of Archimedes' strange disappearance. Along the way they meet a gannett who shows them how he dives deep into the water to catch his food and a cormorant that zigs and zags through the water to catch hers. But that won't help them catch the frog in their shallow pool. They finally find Penny and watch how she scoops with her big bill, like a net! Now Nick and Sally know how they can rescue the frog in their pool.

The next time Thomas sees the bird watcher he refuses to pick him up. But Thomas learns that that's not the right thing to do either. As Scoop digs for treasure, he gets too close to the wall and causes it to become unstable. While team repairs the wall, Wendy notices that the statue of Sir Roger is pointing at something. The team excitedly ventures to the area and Scoop digs up a stunning find-the Silver Shield! Bob returns it to the statue and the pieces shine marvellously. Learning Goals: To explore past and present. To identify real and pretend. To recognize an architectural shape, the arch. City Beach: Bob and the team are creating a temporary city beach for Spring City's summer season. Mr. Bentley hopes win the 'Blue Ribbon', an award for the cleanest, safest beach. The Machines become anxious when they learn that the inspector could be disguised as anyone. In a panic, they cause a mess on the site. They desperately try to clean it, but as the real inspector approaches with Mr. Bentley, it appears they've run out of time. The Spring City Rockets swoop in and offer their help. Impressed with their community spirit, the inspector awards Spring City with the Blue Ribbon. Learning Goals: To promote team work and its advantages and rewards. George seems to have something on his mind. Since no one can communicate with a firefly, they call in Houston. With the help of his firefly communicator, they find out that George is lost and needs help finding the Firefly Fiesta! Thunderstruck - It's Nature Scrapbook Day today! Nature Cat and his pals are out in nature, taking photos, drawing pictures and collecting various aspects of nature to put in their nature scrapbook. Suddenly, a thunderstorm causes the gang to seek shelter in Hal's doghouse. As Nature Cat and his friends learn thunderstorms are nothing to be scared of, they also are able to see the beauty of thunderstorms, which become the last entry in their scrapbook. duration 28:46   STEREO TVY

Back on Earth, they make their own Voyager 1 (out of a wagon) and take Mindy to the outermost edges of the Mindysphere! / Sydney knows a lot about Boxwood Terrace's early history, and she tells Jet stories about a local pioneer who went by the nickname "Lone Star." He got that name because he was an early astronomer who liked the hills of Boxwood Terrace for their excellent views of the night sky, and built the first Observatory on the hill that now sits at the center of the Deep Space Array.
