Fixing Mr. Bones: When Leo accidentally breaks Mr. Bones (Miss Martin's model skeleton) he hides the evidence and tries to get Caillou to help him put Mr. Bones back together - with disastrous results. Admitting their mistake enables Daddy to help the boys put Mr. Bones back together properly - only to learn Mr. Bones is supposed to come apart! Educational Objective: Admitting mistakes. [#109H] A Kid's Guide to Mars/Jet 2 "A Kid's Guide to Mars" - Celery and Carrot need to update their guidebook about Mars, and the kids join them on a trip to see how much things have changed on Mars in the last four billion years. Curriculum: Mars was once (4 billion years ago) a lot like Earth, with oceans, clouds and drinkable water. Something happened 3.7 billion years ago that turned Mars' atmosphere from warm and wet to dry and cold.
    "Jet 2" - Jet builds a robot version of himself, so that he can be in "two places at once!" But Jet learns what jealousy is when the other kids seem to be having more fun with Jet 2 than they are with him! Curriculum: A robot is an automatic mechanical device often resembling a human or animal. Humans build robots to perform the tasks humans can't do, but people are still in control because they give instructions to the robots.

      All KQED television channels will be off the air late Friday/early Saturday 1/14 beginning at midnight for approximately two hours to perform maintenance and upgrades to our electrical system.     • Wed 12/28: KQET DT25 Over the Air signal restored

      UPDATE: signal was restored apx 6pm (DT25.1 through 25.3) We are aware that our transmitter servicing the Watsonville/Monterey/Salinas area, KQET, is off the air. Engineers are on their way from San Francisco to check it out. Estimated time for repairs not yet known.

    • Planned KQET (DT25) outage: early Sun 12/18 apx 1am

      (DT25.1 through 25.3) Due to maintenance and software update work being done by one of the paid signal providers, KQET-25 will need to go off the air for apx 15-30 minutes at apx 1am.
