When Philip arrives at Brendam Docks and Gordon still hasn't overtaken him, Philip assumes he's won. Later that evening at Tidmouth Sheds, Gordon announces that he wasn't racing and reminds everyone about his speed. Philip is not disheartened-he's happy to have made new friends on Sodor. . Learning Goals: being helpful, following directions, paying attention Philip to the Rescue When Philip shows off to James about how many trucks he can pull, James decides to prove that he is the stronger engine by pulling a very long train of cars. Soon disaster strikes as James loses control of all of the cars and comes off the rails, breaking through a stone bridge. As James dangles off the bridge, Philip races to save him by sliding under him just before he falls. A grateful James apologizes for calling Philip a show off.     * Reef Magic - Nick has difficulty learning a "disappearing" magic trick, when who should appear but The Cat in the Hat! He takes Nick and Sally to the coral reef of Scoobamareen. There they learn that distraction is a great way for some sea creatures to hide themselves from other fish who might be looking for a bite to eat. Back at home, Nick and Sally use what they learned to make their stuffed panda disappear!

The kids have to figure out where on Earth he is. As it turns out, Uncle Zucchini never made it to Earth, but has landed on a place that sort of resembles Earth - Titan, Saturn's largest moon! Titan has Earth-like features such as oceans, mountains, and an atmosphere. Curriculum: Titan is Saturn's largest moon, and the second largest in the solar system. Titan has lots of conditions that make it similar to Earth, including an atmosphere with clouds and a golden haze, and liquid oceans.
    * Mindy's Weather Report - Mindy and Sunspot, watching a weather report broadcast on FACE 9000's screen, learn of a huge storm system on Saturn. When the other kids hear about it, they mistakenly assume the storm is somewhere local. Mayhem ensues as the misinformation spreads and everyone rushes around to prepare, while Mindy meanwhile "broadcasts" her own weather report from Jet's house. Curriculum: Earth is not the only planet with storms! Although we have big hurricanes here that typically last up to a week, Saturn is home to a hexagonal group of hurricanes locked into place around Saturn's north pole, that may have been going on for hundreds of years.

Every time George comes up with a way of keeping Charkie tied up, Charkie comes up with a way of slipping out of her leash. It takes all of George's problem solving skills to find a way to keep Charkie from running away...until George discovers that she likes playing soccer too.

O the Owl and Katerina Kittycat have been playing together all day, and are even going to have dinner together. When it is time to go home with Dad, Daniel feels left out and sad. Determined, Tiny sets out to find a mammal in the Mesozoic who likes fish, so she, Buddy, Cindy and Dad set out on a fishing trip where they run into Cassie Castrocauda, a Jurassic mammal that looks like a cross between a beaver, an otter and a platypus, who also happens to love fish! One morning at the family nest, Don befriends a butterfly that he names Dan. Don, Buddy, Tiny and Shiny watch Dan and three of his "sibling" butterflies fly around until suddenly they disappear, leaving Dan all alone. Don feels for the separated butterfly and vows to re-unite him with his siblings. After Mom and Dad give a quick lesson about butterfly camouflage, Don leads his own siblings all around the nest area searching for Dan the Butterfly's lost "sisters and brother." The whole time, Don keeps an eye on Dan, who camouflages himself when any threat (birds or a frog) are nearby. The long search doesn't yield the missing butterflies.
