Sidney takes off, happily singing a song, but when he stops to talk to Gordon, he gets distracted. Forgetting his assignment, he travels to the Waste Dump, the Animal Park, and then Knapford Station, where he rescues passengers trying to reach Brendam Docks. Although he takes a slight detour, in the end, he completes two very special jobs: he delivers Percy's wheels and takes the stranded passengers to their destination on time! Learning Goals: problem-solving, creative thinking, following directions, friendship, compassion Diesel and the Ducklings Diesel always likes to appear rough and tough in front of the other engines. But when Thomas unexpectedly finds Diesel lovingly fussing over some baby ducklings, he threatens to tell everyone that Diesel is a softie. Diesel is horrified and promises to be nice to everyone in exchange for Thomas not telling them about the ducklings. All the engines are pleasantly surprised when Diesel starts being polite and friendly, but wonder if Diesel will be able to change his ways for good. The Man explains to George that moving ahead three spaces means not counting on the space he started on - a lesson which comes in handy when George is asked to help Chef Pisghetti by delivering a very special pie to a very special meeting. Toys are one thing, but fitting canned ham, eggs and paper towels neatly into the same bag may prove too tall an order - especially with the overly confident Rodney from Large Mart packing in the next corner. But then again, if George can practice at home by fitting together the shapes of his stuffed camel and muscle man together, what's a little salami and cheese?     Splash and Bubbles [#111] Super Splash!/Pearlene While playing, Splash senses something is wrong and quickly swims out of Dunk's way as he comes in for a hard landing. Convinced that he has some sort of superpower, the kids begin testing Splash's limits in a series of sneak attacks, which never work. Gush soon explains that Splash isn't a superhero, but simply has a lateral line sense, which is common for fish. / Ripple feels like she is struggling to be part of her group of friends, then meets a shy oyster named Pearlene, who also feels isolated from those around her. Seeing how nice and kind Pearlene truly is, Ripple encourages her to "open up" to others and make new friends.
