After getting caught in the rain, Caillou looses his voice, but manages to find other ways to communicate until his voice comes back. Caillou wants to be taller like his friend Jim and tries to think of a way to grow faster. Mom and Dad measure him on his growth chart and show him he has grown a whole inch since last time, but that's just not enough. Buddy and Tiny ride the Dinosaur Train for a playdate with their old friend Petey Peteinosaurus, and learn that the train has added a new Aviary Car, for their various flying passengers. Suddenly, they are joined by a lost bird named Judy Jehelornis, who was displaced by the recent forest fires, and can't remember where her home is. This inspires the dogs to perform a series of "secret good deeds" to turn Mr. Bleakman's frown into a smile.   Sesame Street [#4261H] The Shape O' Bots Telly, Elmo, and Rosita are playing Shape-O-Bots, robots that actually transform into shapes to help people. Andy, a guy in need of shapes, rushes in and explains that he needs an octagon to help stop people from crashing into him. Telly tries to transform into an octagon with eight sides and eight angles, but changes into a triangle with three sides and three angles instead. Rosita gives it a try and successfully transforms into an octagon, which Andy uses as a stop sign to stop people from running into him. Andy leaves but soon returns, this time in need of a pentagon, a shape with five sides and five angles. He explains that he is a baseball coach and needs a home plate, which is shaped like a pentagon, so his players won't slide right into him. The Shape-O-Bots do their thing and, once again, Telly changes into a triangle. Elmo is able to help, though, and transforms into a pentagon. Andy now returns one last time needing a rhombus, a shape with four sides and four angles, for the King of Rhombuses, who is missing his. Telly tries to transform into a rhombus, but, once again, winds up as a triangle. Rosita notices that a rhombus is actually two triangles stuck together. Chris suggests that since Telly hit his button one time to become a triangle, maybe hitting it two times will turn him into a rhombus. It works!   Washington Week [#5229H] In this last week of his first term, President Obama rolled out the biggest US plan to confront gun violence and strengthen gun-control laws in generations. The sweeping proposal includes increased enforcement of existing gun laws, universal background checks, an assault weapons ban, and improved mental health services.
  The political battle over gun rights has intensified since the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December. Recent polls show the majority of Americans favor more stringent gun laws that would close sales loopholes at gun shows and limit high-capacity magazines. The National Rifle Association (NRA) insists the president's plan is an encroachment of their constitutional right to bear arms and says it is prepared for "the fight of the century." < br />In 2009 Barack Obama came into office with soaring approval ratings and an abundance of optimism calling for "a new era of responsibility" in the face of the nation's economic crisis. After a long downturn, the economy is getting stronger. Healthcare reform is the law of the land. But the president has not fulfilled all his first-term promises. Unemployment remains high. The Guantanamo Bay detention prison remains open. And any hopes of fostering bipartisanship seem to have disappeared in a nation that seems to be more politically divided.
