Peter, Paul and Mary - 25th Anniversary Concert In 1986 the legendary Peter, Paul and Mary marked their 25th anniversary with the taping of their very first PBS TV special. Now, two and a half decades later, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the formation of the group in the famed Greenwich Village, this joyous yet deeply moving live concert is being re-released for March 2012 pledge. Peter, Paul and Mary's 25th Anniversary Concert features songs that became, for many, the soundtrack of their generation. In an era in which folk music became America's messenger of hope, Peter, Paul and Mary sounded a call to conscience that, to this day, remains an enduring part of our national quest for equity and justice. Perhaps as much as anyone, in a period of great turbulence and transformation, Peter, Paul and Mary inspired America to be the best we could be. That, indeed, is a formidable legacy and one that has made this trio and its music a true and enduring national treasure. duration 1:59:00   STEREO TVG

He needs a team of detectives, and Elmo and Abby quickly volunteer. By repeating the items that are missing, they realize that all of them begin with the letter R. Just then, Mumford runs in saying his rabbit is gone too. Luckily, Telly and Mumford saw someone running away each time something disappeared. They describe him and Detective Betts makes a drawing of who they saw. It turns out to be the letter R! So the team gathers up some letters, puts them in a line-up, and matches the drawing to them. They match it to the letter R, who then runs off in a panic. Elmo, Abby, and Detective Betts chase him all around Sesame Street, but he is too quick. They come up with a plan to bring him in for questioning. They set out a plate of rigatoni, which begins with the letter R, and hide, watching to see if the letter R takes it. He eats the rigatoni, but takes off before they can catch him. To slow him down, the detectives decide to put out a heavy rock for him to take. Il Volo Takes Flight In May 2009, three fresh-faced teenagers, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Ginaluca Ginoble appeared on the popular Italian talent show, Ti Lascio Una Canzone and dazzled television viewers with their flawless rendition of the Neapolitan standard "O Sole Mio." The boys who won the competition easily decided that their group needed a name. "Il Volo" meaning "flight" was chosen to signify the feeling that these three young tenors were about to spread their wings.
The Italian teen vocal group took the audience by storm during the taping at the Detroit Opera House, singing classical and traditional Italian songs that showcased their vocal talent as well as their interpretive gifts for music. Their versions of "O Sole Mio," "Il Mondo," and "E Piu Ti Penso," a medley of Ennio Morricone songs from the soundtracks to (Once Upon a Time in America and Malena) and the Charlie Chaplin song, "Smile," brought the audience to their feet as they exploded with applause for these gifted performers. A touching moment came when the boys sang the popular Italian song, "Mamma," and Ignazio and Piero went into the audience to hug their tearful moms.
Joining the tenors is Pia Toscano, a popular favorite from American Idol - Season 10, who joins the tenors to sing and dance to "La Luna Hizo Esto." Also performing is guitarist, Milos Karadaglic who boldly introduces the song "Granada."
