After lots of practice (and a race to see who's the slowest!), Nick and Sally are now able to get closer to the butterfly and finish their picture!

Educational Objective: The importance of sharing; friendship. Coach Grandpa: Grandpa is coaching Caillou's soccer team, and Caillou really wants to impress his Grandpa. So when the team starts losing, and Caillou begins to bumble on the field, Caillou decides he doesn't want to play anymore. Grandpa explains that win or lose, it's all about having fun. He's proud of Caillou, no matter what. With renewed enthusiasm, Caillou rejoins the team to have fun playing the game. Educational Objective: Having fun at sports is more important than winning. The Safety Helper: Caillou is very proud when Miss Martin makes him "Safety Helper" for the day. He takes his job very seriously, and even prevents Jeffrey from going down the slide head-first. So when the job is passed on to Leo the next day, Caillou feels crushed... until he overhears some students repeating his safety lessons, and realizes they took his message to heart. George loves to watch Mr. Auger work, and for being an adoring fan, George gets a few plumbing lessons from the professional. The next time the drain is clogged, George thinks he can fix the problem by himself - only he forgets to tighten the pipes and soon water is overflowing all over the apartment building!
    * Curious George Takes a Hike: Bill and the Man with the Yellow Hat are excited for their big hike. Bill is looking forward to collecting leaves and the Man wants to do nature drawings for his art class. George doesn't find any of these activities to be very exciting and longs to see some real action - which he gets when Bill and the Man fall off a small cliff, get stuck on a ledge, and need George to go find help. George needs to use the Man's numbered drawings of the landmarks they passed along the way, to try and find his way back to the Ranger Station for help. But will he be able to find the Man's beloved Yellow Hat which blew away?

They seek shelter, and Don discovers an entrance to a cave below their nest, where not only the Pteranodons, but also their other neighbors, the Lambeorsaurus family and Cindy Cimolestes, all take shelter for the night. In the morning, the storm has passed, but everyone must pitch in to rebuild their various nests.
    * The family is cleaning up the mess left over from the hurricane, and discover that a raft of logs has washed up two refugees from across the Western Interior Sea - a turtle named Aidan Adocus, and a small mammal named Tommy Ptilodus. Our family learns of their adventure, crossing the sea in the storm, and washing up at Pteranodon Terrace. They decide to take their new friends to the Dinosaur Train, and ride back with them to their home in Appalachia.

With hard work and practice, though, Abby learns to ride without help from Gordon. Whee! Abby becomes so excited that her wings start flapping and her tricycle lifts off!
