David Geffen: American Masters Notoriously press and camera-shy, David Geffen reveals himself for the first time in this unflinching portrait of a complex and compelling man. His far-reaching influence -- as agent and manager, record industry mogul, Hollywood and Broadway producer, billionaire philanthropist -- helped shape American popular culture for the past four decades. He launched the early successes of Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jackson Browne, Tom Cruise and Guns N' Roses; he co-founded DreamWorks, the first new Hollywood studio in more than 50 years; he produced "Cats" and "Dreamgirls"; he is one of the largest contributors to the fight against AIDS and has become an important political voice. This dealmaker extraordinaire is witty, self-aware and candid. He and everyone from Yoko Ono and Cher, Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd, Stephen Spielberg and Barry Diller, David Crosby and Neil Young, Elton John and Rahm Emanuel illuminate his story. duration 1:56:46   SRND51 TVPG-L

Frontline [#3024H] Poor Kids These are hard times in the Quad Cities, a great American crossroads along the border of Iowa and Illinois, where the Mississippi River intersects Interstate 80. It's home to John Deere manufacturing and the nation's breadbasket. But it's also an area deeply scarred by the recession. Frontline spent months following three young girls who are growing up against the backdrop of their families' struggles against financial ruin. The result is an intimate portrait of the economic crisis as it's rarely seen, through the eyes of children. At a time when one in five American kids lives below the poverty line, Poor Kids is an unflinching and revealing exploration of what poverty means to children, and to the country's future. duration 56:46   STEREO TVPG

Sesame Street [#4313H] The Very End of X Big Bird and Snuffy are the hosts of "The Letter of the Day Show" on Sesame Street! The only problem is that the letter they were supposed to introduce and sing about is broken into two straight pieces. Big Bird and Snuffy need help determining which letter it is, so they use the guests on the show as clues. Their first guest is a box, which begins with the letter "B", so they think the letter must be "B". When they try to put the broken pieces of the letter together, however, it does not form a "B". Big Bird and Snuffy realize the letter must have two straight lines. The next guest is wax, so Big Bird and Snuffy think the letter must be "W", but that letter has four straight lines. The next guest is Leela dressed up as a Tyrannosaurs Rex. Big Bird thinks that this has all become too hard because all of the guests start with a different letter - box, wax, and Tyrannosaurs Rex. After he says the words out loud, Snuffy realizes that all of the letters end with the same sound. They figure out that these words don't start with the same letter, but end with the same letter-"X"! Leela helps them cross the two straight lines of the broken letter together and they form the letter "X"! Other guests that end with the letter "X" appear on the show and they all sing a song together! duration 58:46   STEREO TVY (Secondary audio: DVI)
