They seek shelter, and Don discovers an entrance to a cave below their nest, where not only the Pteranodons, but also their other neighbors, the Lambeorsaurus family and Cindy Cimolestes, all take shelter for the night. In the morning, the storm has passed, but everyone must pitch in to rebuild their various nests. The family is cleaning up the mess left over from the hurricane, and discover that a raft of logs has washed up two refugees from across the Western Interior Sea - a turtle named Aidan Adocus, and a small mammal named Tommy Ptilodus. Our family learns of their adventure, crossing the sea in the storm, and washing up at Pteranodon Terrace. Telly is upset that he missed the class, but Rosita and Elmo offer to teach him what they learned. Telly wants to do The Flamingo pose, so they start out by teaching him special yoga breathing - in and out very slowly. Next his arms go up, then out, then leg up? but Telly falls down. Telly tries again, but keeps falling. Elmo suggests that he try lifting the other leg or Rosita and Elmo hold Telly's arms until he's balanced, but that doesn't work either. Now Telly is sure he can't balance because one of his elbows is heavier than the other. Elmo and Rosita give him lots of objects to hold in his hands to make his weight equal on both sides. This doesn't help him balance either and he keeps crashing down. Chris comes by and explains that Telly can find his balance point with some practice. Chris demonstrates by showing how he can find just the right spot to balance the napkin holder on his tray. Chris helps Telly try to find his balance by supporting his arms as he shifts his weight. George tries to make his own compost, but soon discovers that he's made a stinky mess! The Renkins teach George that proper compost consists of dirt, water, and air with only certain foods (no meat or dairy). In the city, George sees that the plants in the apartment need food. George prepares a hearty "meal" in the living room...using all the containers he can find. When the Man with the Yellow Hat wakes up to a strange odor, he follows his nose to the compost! The neighbors are delighted that George made enough for all the plants in the building.
  * What Goes Up - It's "Reuse Your Junk Day" and George and the Man with the Yellow Hat have one last pickup before they go to the lake. But when they arrive at Renkins' Farm, they find a mountain of junk piled in the Renkins' living room. There's no way they'll finish the job before the suns goes down, which means no lake for George. While the Man is taking a load to the collection center, George discovers that he can use the ironing board as a lever to launch the junk out of the living room and onto the front yard.
