On a winter day, Dad and Caillou go over to Grandpa's with their skates. What was supposed to be a skating outing becomes a shoveling chore because of all the snow that has accumulated in Grandpa's driveway. Soon, Caillou finds a way to turn this into a game and has a lot of fun making snow castles. When Caillou and Rosie stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house, Grandpa uses pop bottles and a rubber ball to create a bowling alley in the backyard. Grandpa teaches Caillou to bowl, but when he is called inside, it's Caillou's turn to teach as he shows Rosie how to play. Caillou accidentally spills the rest of the milk before Rosie could get her cereal. She is very upset and Caillou suggests they go get some more milk at the corner store. At the street intersection, he shows Mom that he knows when it is time to cross safely. Caillou is excited when Miss Martin takes him and his friends to the park for some special activities. The rules are not easy to grasp, and the kids have a few comical mishaps in the process. Caillou discovers that you don't always have to win to be proud of yourself. duration 28:46   STEREO TVY

The next time the drain is clogged, George thinks he can fix the problem by himself - only he forgets to tighten the pipes and soon water is overflowing all over the apartment building!

Bill is looking forward to collecting leaves and the Man wants to do nature drawings for his art class. George doesn't find any of these activities to be very exciting and longs to see some real action - which he gets when Bill and the Man fall off a small cliff, get stuck on a ledge, and need George to go find help. George needs to use the Man's numbered drawings of the landmarks they passed along the way, to try and find his way back to the Ranger Station for help. He only has a cow, but he needs a beanstalk! He knows he's supposed to trade the cow for something but doesn't know what. Leela gives him a clue-he needs to find something that grows in the ground. Jack quickly returns with a duck. But ducks don't grow in the ground! Leela gives Jack another clue-to find something that rhymes with "jeans." Jack comes back with a tambourine in each hand. "Tambourine" rhymes with "jeans" but tambourines don't grow in the ground. They're musical instruments. Jack becomes discouraged and is convinced he is never going to be able to grow a beanstalk. Leela gives him one more clue- he needs to look for something little. He trades the cow in and comes back with a handful of beans. They match all the clues- beans grow in the ground, rhyme with jeans, and they are little. Hooray! Jacks found something that turns into a beanstalk. Leela shows Jack how to plant the beans in the garden. She covers the beans with soil, waters the beans, and lets the sun shine down. Suddenly, a huge beanstalk shoots up out of the ground.
