World On Trial
World on Trial will present both sides of sharply contested international human rights issues in the context of courtroom trials before live multinational juries. Remote juries at distinguished universities throughout the world will view the proceedings by video, deliberate, and also render verdicts. Each episode will be filmed in a courtroom with simultaneous translation before a live audience and jury. Participants include: Randall Robinson, Creator and Host; Cherie Booth, Presiding Jurist; Charles Ogletree, Challenging the 2004 Law; Remy Schwartz; Widney Brown; John R. Bowen; Karima Bennoune; Hanifa Cherifi.
