Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
This 1950s series stars Ronald Howard as Sherlock Holmes and Howard Marion Crawford as Dr. Watson. This was the first American TV series of Sherlock Holmes adventures. The show was filmed in France.

Dr Watson's hat is found at the scene of a murder, leading Lestrade to suspect him of having killed a diplomat lately returned from Saint Petersburg. A Russian ballet dancer and a composer are also suspects, but Holmes unmasks the real murderer.
Royal Murder (#119) Duration: 26:41 TVG
Holmes and Watson, guests at the hunting lodge of an unnamed Central European king, witness a murder. They are able to expose the culprit and avoid a war.
