First broadcast in 1990, the silent odd-ball Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) has become known all over the world. Created by Atkinson, Richard Curtis and Robin Driscoll, only 14 episodes were ever made.

Mr. Bean treats himself to a weekend at a hotel, but tries to turn his room into a home away from home with the aid of an electric drill and a picture of Shirley Bassey. H attempts to outdo a fellow guest, and ends up eating bad oysters, getting locked out of his room with no clothes on, and angering the lounge performer.

Mr. Bean, very excited that it's christmas, befriends a Salvation Army band, then drives home with the tallest tree he can find. On Christmas Day there are plenty of surprises under the tree, but the gift he gives to his girlfriend is not what she had hoped for, and he leaves himall alone. Even so, Mr. Bean's holiday season ends with a bang.

Mr. Bean proves he's a bright spark by resuscitating a heart attack victim with jumper cables -- only to electrocute him. He finds a mailbox a very good hideaway, an experience that comes in handy when he has to pack a tiny suitcase to capacity. Settling down to enjoy his holiday flight, he befriends a small boy who happens to have a surprise lurking in his bag.
