After killing Jonny during a bout, Kid begins to remember the moments before the fatal blow that killed Jonny. Not only consumed by the guilt of killing another man, Kid's feelings of shame are intensified by his repressed homosexuality. As Kid avoids his wife Sylvia, and turns his back on the profession that he loves, Kid's thoughts are filled with memories of the fight.

She takes Dale to a cockfight and invites her friends along who also want to be seen with the handsome actor from America. Word about Dale spreads through town quickly, attracting more and more attention, until an unexpected turn of events brings Rosa and Dale's day out on the town to a disturbing end.
