    • Mon 5/06: very brief KQED DT9 OTA outage

      (DT9.1, 9.2, 9.3) This morning we had a very brief outage of our over the air (OTA) coverage for KQED 9.1/9.2/9.3, which lasted apx 4 minutes.     • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA signal back on air

      (DT54.1 through DT54.5) The Over the Air (OTA) signal from our KQEH transmitter on Monument Peak was restored at apx 6:35pm this evening. Most tuners should automatically find the signal, however some OTA viewers may need to do a rescan to restore reception.

    • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA planned overnight outage extended

      Unexpected technical problems have been discovered at the KQEH transmitter site during planned maintenance overnight.  KQED crews have identified the problem and are working to correct it as soon as possible. Please check back to this blog for status updates. Service to Comcast and other providers are uninterrupted.

Wealthy banker Matthew Davenheim leaves his country mansion to walk to the post office after tea and is never seen again. He was expected to meet his colleague, Lowen, but Lowen sees no one on his walk from the station to Davenheim's house. Inspector Japp wagers that Poirot will not be able to solve the mystery without leaving his apartment which, much to the Belgian detective's disgust, he is currently sharing with a parrot.

She had asked for his help, suspecting her dentist husband to be poisoning her so that he could marry his young assistant. After conducting preliminary interviews, Poirot is sure that Mrs. Pengelley was not murdered by her husband and sets about finding the real killer.

The Lost Mine (Episode #204)

While Poirot is checking his account, the chairman of his bank is waiting for a Chinese man who is expected to sell the bank a map showing the location of a lost silver mine. When Mr. Wu Ling is found dead near the Red Dragon Casino at the docks, Inspector Japp becomes excited at the prospect of breaking a drug ring he has been pursuing for several years. Poirot is certain they are dealing with more than gangland crime.

The Veiled Lady (Episode #203)

In London's famous Burlington Arcade a man grabs a handful of jewels and flees. A bored Poirot is meanwhile musing on becoming a master criminal himself. At her request, he meets Lady Millicent Castle Vaugh who explains that she is soon to marry the Duke of Southshire but is being blackmailed by an ex-lover. Poirot now has the excuse he needs to realize his criminal ambitions and proceeds to break into the suspected blackmailer's flat.
