    • Mon 5/06: very brief KQED DT9 OTA outage

      (DT9.1, 9.2, 9.3) This morning we had a very brief outage of our over the air (OTA) coverage for KQED 9.1/9.2/9.3, which lasted apx 4 minutes.     • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA signal back on air

      (DT54.1 through DT54.5) The Over the Air (OTA) signal from our KQEH transmitter on Monument Peak was restored at apx 6:35pm this evening. Most tuners should automatically find the signal, however some OTA viewers may need to do a rescan to restore reception.

    • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA planned overnight outage extended

      Unexpected technical problems have been discovered at the KQEH transmitter site during planned maintenance overnight.  KQED crews have identified the problem and are working to correct it as soon as possible. Please check back to this blog for status updates. Service to Comcast and other providers are uninterrupted.

Captain Hastings finally decides to buy an elegant Italian car from Mr. Vizzini's showroom and is completing the order form when a dubious character arrives at the showroom with the message that Vizzini's time is up. Time is also up for another of Vizzini's compatriots when Count Foscatini, a neighbor of one of Poirot's friends, is found murdered. The case seems to lack a motive, until Miss Lemon's love life throws up a clue.

The Case of the Missing Will (Episode #504)

When academic Andrew Marsh dies shortly after changing his will, Poirot decides that there are several motives for his possible murder. Before he died, Marsh asked Poirot to be executor of his new will in which he left his entire estate to Violet, his ward. This leaves many expectant beneficiaries out in the cold and Poirot's suspicions of foul play deepen when the will mysteriously disappears.

Yellow Iris (Episode #503)

Hastings tells Poirot about a new restaurant opening in London which has the same name as one Poirot visited two years ago in Buenos Aires. A yellow iris arrives with the post, which further reminds Poirot of his trip. Iris, one of his dinner companions in Buenos Aires, was murdered and Poirot was unceremoniously deported before he could investigate. Could the mysterious arrival of the flower be a request for Poirot to pick up the case again?

The Underdog (Episode #502)

After a mystery fire at his factory, businessman Sir Rueben Astwell decides to file the details of his newly discovered compound at home. Astwell's ambitions to cash in on the possible war with Germany are thwarted when he is bludgeoned to death in his study. Despite failed attempts to hypnotize Poirot, Miss Lemon's new skill helps to solve this baffling case of murder and revenge - as well as helping Hastings to achieve a hole-in-one on the golf course.
