Joseph travels to St. Moritz in the Engadine Region of Switzerland to discover the Romansch soul beneath the five-star hotels, the sparkle of high-end shops and the Rolls-Royce fashions. Along the way he gets above the St. Moritz's surface attractions by trekking into the Rhaetian Alps above 6,000 feet where there's mountain peaks, alpine meadows and "everyone is a friend."

Taiwan - Forgotten People (Episode #508H)

Only 2% of the Taiwan population belongs to an ethnic minority group. Of the 14 aboriginal groups that exist on Taiwan the Tao people live on Orchid Island while the Ami people were the original inhabitants of Green Island. Joseph travels to Green Island to enjoy its natural pleasures such as one of the world's only ocean hot baths and rides on a moped through the island's dramatic volcanic landscape. On Orchid Island he has cultural encounters with the Tao people sampling their special foods, staying in traditional dwellings and participating in the rituals and customs associated with the hunt, capture and serving of flying fish.

On Mozambique's Bazaruto Archipelago Kuta Katila means, "Roll your reed mat out on the sand, lay back and relax." Always ready to follow local customs, Joseph does exactly that at the Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa on Bazaruto Island and at the Azura Resort on Benguerra Island. Joseph continues to practice the fine art of Kuta Katila on the sparkling beaches and in the turquoise waters of the Bazaruto Marine National Park. Snorkeling, sailing, horseback riding and sand-boarding down 100-meter high dunes are activities that are all on the agenda, as well as, a sunset swim with horses. Activities aside, as always, the highlight of the show is Joseph's friendly encounters with the islands' people and the opportunity to share cultural experiences.

Taiwan - The Culture of Tea (Episode #507H)

The mystery and majesty of tea is explored when Joseph spotlights the culture of this royal beverage on Taiwan. During this adventure he travels to Lujang to join in the creation of traditional tea snacks, visits an Assam tea farm in Nantou, participates in a formal tea ceremony in Tainan and tops it all off with a visit to the annual Lantern Festival in Chiayi. Along the way he meets the masters of Taiwan's pottery, tin-sculpting and lantern-making arts.

South Africa - On Safari! (Episode #412H)

Joseph gets an elephant-sized helping of the African wild on safari at the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve adjacent to South Africa's famed Kruger National Park. Using the elegant Lion Sands accommodations as his home base he heads out in search of the Big Five and encounters lions, African elephants, Cape Buffalos and Black Rhinoceros. He rounds out his wildlife tour at Camp Jabulani when he literally rubs shoulders with two Cheetahs at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre then joins other camp guests atop a team of rescued elephants on safari through the African bush. As an important complement to the animal adventures, he visits the local villages and schools in order to understand more about the native culture and discover how they coexist with and benefit from tourism.

Cappadocia, Turkey (Episode #411H)

Cappadocia, in Turkey's rural heart, is a natural wonder and a cultural treasure chest. It is where the East and West seem to have collided and "fairy chimneys" -- fantastic volcanic ash formations -- have risen from the land and tower over beautifully carved valleys. As part of his journey through the Cappadocia Region, Joseph floats in a hot air balloon above the homes and underground cities that are carved out of the limestone rock of the Goreme Valley. He visits holy mosques and ancient churches, delights in Cappadocia's slower, gentler lifestyle and meets the artisans of the region's traditional arts and crafts -- rug weaving, ceramics and water painting.

Custer Country, Montana (Episode #112)

During his travels Joseph explores Glasgow, imbibes a dram or two of the local product at an island whiskey distillery and meets his grace, the Duke of Argyle, at Inverary Castle during the Campbell clans' Highland Games.

Ireland - The West Is Best (Episode #506H)

Joseph starts his Ireland adventure in the town of Shannon and then heads southwest to the Dingle Peninsula. While on the Peninsula he uncovers a few important Irish secrets like how to draw a proper pint, spout a wee bit of Gaelic without getting tongue-tied, how to root for your horse home at the Dingle races and which pub has the best Irish soda bread and stew. Then he heads to the Puck Festival in Killorglin on the Ring of Kerry for some Irish merrymaking. Joseph also learns about the Irish emigration to America and hears the story of the Blasket Islanders - a modern-day Irish migration saga.
