In addition to his town adventures, his journey takes him from one natural area to another in hot pursuit of Australia's wildlife where he has close encounters with kangaroos, koalas and emus. Along the way he is introduced to the original inhabitants and stewards of this great big land down under -- Australia's aboriginal people.

In Geneva Joseph explores a city that has remained in the forefront of innovation and change and visits Lake Geneva's fascinating lakeside villages such as the Olympic city of Lausanne. While in the sun-rich, car-free, 7,000-foot atmosphere of Bettmeralp Joseph enjoys a typical Swiss experience that is filled with glacier treks, colorful festivals, local cuisine, the beauty of the rural countryside and warm Alpine hospitality.

Austria - Celebrating the Vine in Vienna and the Burgenland (Episode #306H)

Travelscope celebrates the historic and modern in Austria's capital, Vienna, and the Burgenland wine country. Along the wine trail Joseph grabs a healthy helping of Gemutlichkeit (the good life) in the capital's own vineyards and in the Buschenshanks and Heurigers (wine cafes) of the villages along Burgenland's Lake Neusiedl.

Santa Ynez Valley, California (Episode #105)

      UPDATE: signal was restored apx 6pm (DT25.1 through 25.3) We are aware that our transmitter servicing the Watsonville/Monterey/Salinas area, KQET, is off the air. Engineers are on their way from San Francisco to check it out. Estimated time for repairs not yet known.

    • Planned KQET (DT25) outage: early Sun 12/18 apx 1am

      (DT25.1 through 25.3) Due to maintenance and software update work being done by one of the paid signal providers, KQET-25 will need to go off the air for apx 15-30 minutes at apx 1am.
