Seeds of Time (Episode #303)

Caroline Pargeter, the granddaughter of the famous botanist Edwin Pargeter, is selling her house and has asked Rosemary and Laura to tidy up the garden and reorganize the Seed Museum created by Edwin, before Caroline and her aging aunt move out. When a mysterious Southern American man is found dead in the Pargeter's back garden, it looks as if there is more to Edwin's seed collection than meets the eye. Rosemary involves her colleague at the Royal Horticultural Society at Kew Gardens, and the intrepid detectives attempt to identify the mysterious seeds before they fall into the wrong hands.

Laura's son, Matthew, and his friends are on their annual tennis holiday at a beautiful tennis camp in Southern Spain, owned by former champion Ray Parfitt. Laura and Rosemary are creating a trophy garden for Ray's Pro-Am tennis tournament. When one of the players is found dead after a night out, everyone assumes it was a drunken accident, but the girls suspect foul play. In the neighboring village of Mijas, Rosemary rediscovers the thrill of riding motor scooters, while Laura finds the local bullring a mysterious and threatening place. The value of property proves to be the driving force for evil in this idyllic sun drenched resort.

But one of the local residents is found dead and the mysterious landowner, Luis Mendes, is the chief suspect. Neil declares his love for Rosemary, who must contend with Neil's jealous wife. Laura meanwhile discovers clues in the history of the local aquifers. Someone has been blocking the mountainside water channels on which the new garden will rely. Is the precious water the real reason behind the murder?
