Good Deeds (Episode #608H)

It is a busy day in Sodor as Knapford Station is being decorated. Emily is collecting the flowers for the new window boxes, but when Mavis does not say hello, Emily assumes she is sad and chuffs to the quarry to cheer her up with some of the flowers. The flowers end up in the way of the engines' work. Edward and Thomas crash and slate goes everywhere. Mavis arrives to find the quarry in a mess. Emily learns that if she had asked, she would have known that Mavis wasn't sad at all. Emily tidies the quarry and delivers the flowers, which makes Mavis really happy. Henry wants to do good deeds but instead he manages to do bad deeds. He lets a herd of clean pigs get dirty in a field. He frightens the pigs so they topple over a barrel of apples and the pigs eat the apples. He scares away the Sodor Warbler just as bird watchers are about to take its photo. In despair, Henry carries out his original task of taking a tall nesting pole to the coast. On the way, Henry gives a lift to a tired bird. It turns out to be the Sodor Warbler. All the bird watchers are delighted when Henry arrives with the rare bird on his fenders. Henry, unwittingly, has done a good deed.

It's a rainy day on the Island of Sodor. Big puddles are everywhere. Thomas decides to have a game of splashing puddles with Rosie. It's such good fun that he continues this instead of going to the Wash Down to prepare for his Special - to pick up Sir Topham Hatt and Alicia Botti, the famous singer, who are both waiting at Maithwaite. Thomas first splashes Charlie and then Emily and her flour trucks. He then splashes James and his trucks of ripe strawberries, which all get covered in dirty rain water. Lastly Thomas splashes through the biggest puddle of all and splashes Sir Topham Hatt and Alicia Botti. It's a disaster! Her dress is ruined and Thomas' firebox goes out. He has to give the Special to Rosie and then get new strawberries and flour for the cake. No more puddles for Thomas! Gordon thinks he's the strongest, the most special and the best engine. Ignoring the advice of Sir Topham Hatt not to climb any steep hills in the snow, Gordon does. In the process he splashes Spencer, the smart engine, who crashes into some trucks and derails Thomas. Gordon isn't strong enough to release Thomas from the snow and so he gets Rocky. Rocky rescues Thomas and Gordon learns a lesson. He learns that all engines are special and none are best.
Giving and Sharing (Episode #606H)

When Victor has to be away from the Sodor Steam Works, Thomas is asked to take over for the day. Victor tries to tell Thomas how to run the Sodor Steam Works, but Thomas doesn't listen. He just wants to get started with his very special job. First Spencer, then Henry, and lastly James come into the Sodor Steam Works to be fixed. But Thomas doesn't listen to what is wrong with them. He sends Spencer to the hoist, claims Henry needs special coal, and orders the spare funnel for James. His unwitting accomplice in all this is Kevin who is loyal and obedient, but very confused. Kevin's confusion sparks total Sodor Steam Works chaos with Spencer swinging from the hoist hook, Kevin rolling into James and James covering Victor in twigs and soot! Thomas realizes he hasn't listened. He corrects everything, and leaves Victor to run the Sodor Steam Works and Kevin to recover! It's a great day for Sodor because Hiro is returning to the Island! Thomas and Percy are very excited. Sir Topham Hatt tells Thomas and Percy that he is organizing a welcoming party for Hiro at Knapford and Thomas is to tell all the other engines to gather for it. But, Thomas decides that getting a welcome present for Hiro would make him even happier. Thomas looks for a gift at Farmer McColl's, at the Quarry and at the Sodor Steam Works and fails to tell the engines about the party. When Thomas gets to Knapford present-less, he sees Hiro alone and realizes Hiro is also guest-less! Thomas is devastated!He rushes back to the places he visited to tell all the engines about Hiro's party. Everyone gathered at Knapford and Hiro tells Thomas that the biggest present of all is to be with all the engines - his dear friends!
Best Times! (Episode #605H)

Sir Topham Hatt announces that the library is holding a special story time for all the children. He needs an engine to deliver the storybooks. Thomas is so excited that he has been chosen for the special that he doesn't wait to for the books to be tied in place. As Thomas gets more excited, he chuffs faster and faster and ends up along a bumpy track. Soon his trucks bump high in the air and the storybooks land in Farmer McColl's field. Thomas doesn't want to let the children down and decides to make it a picnic story time, and brings the children to the storybooks. Percy has a special Special. He is to deliver a big gift crate to Knapford. It is Dowager Hatt's birthday present from Sir Topham Hatt. Percy is so proud that he decides that rather than go directly to Knapford, he will show off his gift crate to Mavis. But at the Quarry,it gets covered in slate dust! Percy is mortified and tries to fix the situation by taking the crate to the Wash Down and then to be dried at the Sodor Steam Works. It is all a disaster! Percy then realizes that he could put the bedraggled parcel into a new crate. Victor helps him and supplies a brand new crate which is painted red. When Dowager Hatt sees her new gift wrapped gift - she is thrilled!!
Marvelous Moments! (Episode #604H)

Thomas is asked by Farmer Trotter to collect some straw for the piglets, which are soon to be born. But on the way, Thomas sees other things he thinks the piglets will like. He soon discovers all the piglets really need is straw and rushes off to correct his mistake in time for the piglets' arrival. Thomas has to transport something called The Lion of Sodor. It's actually a statue, but Thomas thinks it's a real lion, and is too excited to listen to other engines who try to correct him. Thomas gets his friends to help by giving the "lion" fish and straw. So, all because Thomas was in too much of a hurry to listen to advice, the statue is in a real mess. When Thomas realizes his error, he manages to get the statue cleaned and delivered to the Town Square in time for its unveiling.
Slips and Trips! (Episode #602H)

While covered in pink undercoat, James is asked by Sir Topham Hatt to pick up his granddaughter and take her to the Town Hall for her birthday party. But James is worried he will be seen by his friends and tries to hide his pink coat from them on the way. Thomas has to wear a replacement funnel while his own is being fixed and he is embarrassed about it. When Thomas is asked to carry some special bubble liquid for Mr. Bubbles, the famous clown, the other engines laugh at Thomas' funnel. Thomas rushes by them really fast to get away, spilling all the bubble liquid. Thomas returns to get more, and in doing so, learns that making people laugh can be a good thing.
Friends and Family (Episode #601H)

It's the day of the Spring Party at the Duke and Duchess of Boxford's summer house. Cranky teases Thomas that he can only carry light loads. Thomas is outraged by this and determines to prove to Cranky that he is not "Tiny Thomas". First he borrows James' and Henry's heavy loads. Cranky lifts both, but with a lot of creaking and cranking. So Thomas decides Cranky should lift something heavier - himself!. It's too heavy for Cranky and he breaks! Sir Topham Hatt is very cross. Thomas then asks Spencer to take the heavy loads to the party at the summer house while he rushes to the Sodor Steam Works to get parts for Cranky. Once Cranky was fixed, he and Thomas have a party together at the Docks! Thomas has a special Special. He is to take Sir Topham Hatt to his special birthday party. But when Thomas goes to pick him up at Maithwaite, he doesn't look like Sir Topham Hatt at all!! He has a moustache! Things get worse as the imposter Sir Topham Hatt demands to go to the Whispering Woods where he encourages children to play. Then he stops at a junction and rushes into the signal box to have a turn at throwing the levers. As a result, Gordon hurtles down a branch line! When Thomas arrives back at Maithwaite, he realizes this isn't Sir Topham Hatt! The imposter reveals himself as Sir Topham Hatt's brother - Sir Lowham Hatt!
Mistakes (Episode #513)

Thomas wants to be a hero just like the fireman who is to receive a medal from Lady Hatt. He goes around the track causing havoc trying to find disasters where there are none.
Mr. Percival is holding a special winter party. All the narrow gauge engines are to deliver party supplies to Mr. Percival's house. Freddie is at the wharf with his friend Colin the crane who has never been to a party because he is fixed in place. Freddie has an idea to hold the party at the wharf so Colin can be there too. Freddie tries to reorganize everything, but in doing so the party nearly doesn't happen. Freddie sees Mr. Percival and confesses what has happened. Freddie learns that he should have asked first and is allowed to go and put everything right.
Adventures (Episode #512)

It's the Percival twins' birthday and Mr. Percival got them a Hot Air Balloon ride as a treat. When Duncan learns this, he is upset, as he already has his birthday flag fixed on his cab ready to take the twins for a special birthday ride. Mr. Percival asks Duncan to collect the balloon, but as he chuffs along the bumpy track the balloon looses a binding. When Duncan sees this, he purposefully goes back and forth over the bumps until the balloon is floating off into the distance. Satisfied that he will now get to give the twins their birthday ride, he arrives at Mr. Percival's only to see the balloon float by the house and rip a big hole in its side. Feeling terrible, Duncan has an idea: to use his special birthday flag as a patch to fix the balloon.
Miss Marvel, the famous storyteller, is visiting the Hills, and Peter Sam is very excited. He rushes about the narrow gauge trying to finish his work early and be the first to see and hear Miss Marvel's story of Proteus, the mystical engine. Taking an old short cut, Peter Sam crashes through a hedge, uncovering an old statue of Proteus that is standing forgotten on an old rusty flatbed. Boiling with excitement, Peter Sam decides he could make a star entrance with the Proteus statue. Redirecting the other engines away, Peter Sam plans to take the glory for him self but the statue is heavy and he crashes! With the help of his friends though the statue makes it to the storytelling and Peter Sam sees the big unveiling.
