My Blue Heaven (Episode #1342)

KQED Plus: Sat, Jun 29, 2013 -- 7:00 PM

This show originally aired on June 13, 2012. On it Jo Ann Castle makes "Hello Dolly" come alive and Arthur Duncan is a stand out with his tribute to Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. Norma Zimmer sings the aria "One Fine Day" by Puccini and it all winds up with a patriotic segment including a Flag Day recitation by Aladdin, "You're A Grand Old Flag" with the entire cast and a rousing version of the "President Kennedy March". It really makes you proud to be an American!

Childhood Memories (Episode #1340)

KQED Plus: Sat, Jun 15, 2013 -- 7:00 PM

"Those Were The Days" sets the tone for this look back at our favorite memories from childhood. Arthur Duncan brings his "Little Red Wagon", Clay Hart is "Watchin' Scotty Grow" and Guy and Ralna recall "Little Toy Trains". Bob Smale shines on "Chopsticks" and "Small Fry" is perfectly suited to the warm, rich baritone of Dick Dale.
