Home Front is a one-hour television documentary exploring the struggles in Bay Area neighborhoods to accommodate economic growth and preserve diversity. Part of the ongoing KQED Series Bay Window, Home Front explores the tumultuous changes in San Francisco's Mission district as well as documenting Richmond, CA's hopeful urban renewal.

Home Front originally aired in September of 2001.

 

Home Front was awarded a 31st Annual Northern California Area EMMY™ Award for best community program on May 20, 2002.
