This Independent Producers' Guide explains some of the opportunities available at KQED to help you bring your vision to local and national public television audiences. This is a first step for you to review before bringing a project to KQED.

go Are there quantifiable demographics?
go What is the value to funders?
go Are there comparable projects under development in the system?
go What is the potential PBS interest for this production?
go What is the primetime potential?
go Where applicable, what is the quality of on-air creative talent, writer, and director associated with the project?
go Does the project lend itself to providing added benefits that enhance the broadcast?
