The first candidate forum of the recall election campaign, sponsored by The Contra Costa Times, KQED radio, and KTVU, features a conversation with Gray Davis and a discussion among five of the six leading candidates for governor. Democrat Cruz Bustamante, Republicans Tom McClintock and Peter Ueberroth, Green Party candidate Peter Camejo and Independent, and Arianna Huffington were present. Arnold Schwarzenegger declined to attend.
