About Choir Boy
Choir Boy is the story of Berry, a 13-year-old choirboy who resists the breaking of his voice with all his strength. Singing treble in the St. Luke's Episcopal Cathedral choir gives Berry a peace and brilliance he can't find anywhere else in his chaotic life. Berry takes extreme measures to hold back the change, only to find that they raise even more questions about who -- and what -- Berry wants to become. Richard Labonte named Choir Boy one of the top 10 fiction titles of 2005 in his syndicated Book Marks column.
