Program underwriting on KQED consists of :15 open and close spots attached
to a television program. A maximum of two local underwriting positions
are available. Program underwriting is especially effective for companies
seeking to build a relationship with a particular franchise of invested
viewers. Examples of programs available for local underwriting include:
Most breaks between programs include availability for two adjacency spots.
Adjacency underwriting is particularly effective when flexibility and
program variety are critical. It is also an excellent alternative when
program underwriting is not available on a desired program. Examples of
programs where an adjacency flights may be desired include:
