The Signal Society is a special group of friends who
annually contribute $1,500 - $9,999 to KQED. This generous support ensures that
KQED can continue to present the highest quality programming and educational
services for the people of Northern California.
KQED formed the Signal Society in 1992 to provide people with a deep commitment
to public broadcasting a way to invest at a higher level. The Signal Society
is dedicated to the idea that the true benefit derived from an investment of
$1,500 or more in KQED is the assurance that this community resource will continue
to be strong, responsive, creative and exciting.
Membership in the Signal Society offers substantial personal rewards as well.
Members have unique opportunities to enjoy stimulating by-invitation-only
events with the people who make public broadcasting a local and national treasure, use of the 500-title Lending
Library, and more.
