California State Railroad Museum to Host the Popular Public Affairs Program

July 9, 2003

KQED Public Radio's Forum will broadcast live from the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento on Thursday, July 24, 2003, from 9-11am. The two-hour public affairs program can be heard on KQEI 89.3 FM in Sacramento and KQED 88.5 FM in San Francisco.

Topics and Airtimes
Forum's first hour (9-10am) will be a discussion of California's budget and political issues, the second (10-11am) will asses California through the lens of transportation. Panelists will be announced prior to the broadcast. Both hours will include audience participation as well as phone-in questions and comments. The two-hour broadcast will be repeated in the evening from 10pm to 12 midnight.

The July 24 event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required, and may be made by calling the Forum RSVP phone line at 415-553-3340. Seating is limited, but there is ample standing room.
