Children's Hospital Measure
Alameda County voters may think they're seeing double when they look at their ballots for next Tuesday's election. Measures A and B propose essentially the same thing -- that the county impose a parcel tax to help fund the expansion of Children's Hospital Oakland. The expansion plan has raised controversy in the community.  more

Election House Party
The California primary is just over a week away. While the presidential contests are getting most of the attention, voters will also see the usual array of initiatives. Up and down the state, people are getting together to try to sort out the ballot for themselves. Tamara Keith went to a house party in Sacramento where attendees debated their choices.   more
