Number of Homeless Families at All-Time High in SF
You don't often see homeless families with children camping on the streets of San Francisco, but they are here -- living in cars, relatives' homes and other places.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported today that the number of homeless families waiting for shelter in San Francisco hit an all-time high last month, with 268 families -- the most since the city began tracking this statistic seven years ago.
