In San Francisco, Taxi Complaints on the Rise
San Francisco taxi riders appear increasingly frustrated with city cabs. Complaints jumped 13 percent in the last fiscal year. Many passengers saying cab drivers are doing things that are clearly illegal and often dangerous, including speeding, texting while driving and smoking -- and there's also the issue of drivers refusing to give people rides.
Host Stephanie Martin talks with Bay Citizen reporter Zusha Elinson, who analyzed those complaints for a report published today.
