The Giants lost to the Cardinals in St. Louis last night, 8-3.  The Cardinals have a 3-1 lead in the National League Championship Series. The Giants play again tonight in St. Louis at 5:07 PST.

In professional football, the 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks last night, 13-6. The Raiders host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

In college football, It's early this year... Tomorrow is the 115th Cal-Stanford Big Game at Memorial Stadium.  Kickoff is at noon. Also, San Jose State is away, playing the University of Texas at San Antonio.

In basketball, the Warriors play their fifth preseason game, facing off with the Trail Blazers in Portland tonight.
