State Unemployment Highest Since Great Depression
California's new jobless numbers came out
today, and the state has once again set a dismal record.
At 12.5 percent unemployment, it's the highest rate
since the Depression. But there is a glimmer of good
news as well -- 25,000 new jobs were created in the
state last month. We sort out the numbers.
