The EPA's New Region 9 Administrator
EPA administrator Lisa Jackson has appointed a
new Region 9 administrator, including California,
Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Guam. He's Jared Blumenfeld,
now director of San Francisco's Department of the
Environment where he's helped develop many innovative
programs. We asked him why he wants to leave a job where
he has a lot of power to shape policy, and take on one
where he could get lost in the bureaucracy.
