Doctor's Organization Makes a Deal with Coca-Cola,
Stirs Controversy
Early next year, one of the nation's largest
doctor's organizations will offer new advice on diet and
health on its website. The content is to be sponsored by
Coca-Cola, despite health research linking soda drinking
and obesity. We talk to the CEO of the American Academy
of Family Physicians, which has inked a six-figure deal
with Coke. We also talk with a health officer who's one
of about 20 physicians who have resigned from the
academy in protest over the deal.
