City and County Officials Fuming over Budget Deal
The ink is barely dry on the budget deal lawmakers announced yesterday, but already city and county officials say they're
dismayed and angry with the compromise. The new budget deal borrows about $4 billion in funds from counties. Redevelopment
agencies and county governments say they'll sue the state if lawmakers pass the budget on Thursday.
