A New Way for Commercial Airlines to Save?
Five doctoral students at Stanford University think they've developed a way for airline companies to save millions of dollars in fuel and reduce their greenhouse gas production. Their idea is to fly in formation -- the way military aircraft have done for decades. The students are hoping the idea wins a big prize from Airbus.
