Wither California?
For the first time since 1938, California's annual income tax collections may fall. The Governor recently told legislative leaders that if three of the six budget-related ballot measures fail next week, the state faces a $21.3 billion deficit. The program takes a closer look and ponders California's fiscal future with guests: Bill Whalen, research fellow at the Hoover Institution; Stu Woo, staff reporter with the Wall Street Journal and Phil Angelides, former two-term CA State Treasurer and CA Democratic Nominee for Governor in 2006.
