High and Dry: The California Drought
Water officials say California is facing a severe drought -- maybe the worst the state has ever seen. The Sierra snowpack
is down, and January was unusually dry as California enters its third year of lower than normal rainfall. Officials are drawing
up plans to require water rationing, possibly as early as this spring. We talk with a panel of experts about the threat.
