Standards for Confining Farm Animals
We take up Proposition 2 on the November ballot which, if passed, would prohibit the confinement of farm animals in a manner
that does not allow them to turn around freely, lie down, stand up or fully extend their limbs. Opponents say the proposition
would shut down the state's poultry industry and result in unsafe food.
