Popularized in part by films set in India like "Monsoon Wedding," the music and dance of bhangra has taken root in San Francisco. In the first half hour, we invite local bhangra practitioners to describe how the popular ancient dance form has influenced the local dance scene. This year's San Francisco International Arts Festival features a music and dance collaboration between China and the U.S., among dozens of other performances involving artists from around the world.
