Internet Archive Successfully Fights Feds

A digital library in San Francisco has successfully fought a federal demand for information about one of its users. Last year, the F.B.I. issued a national security letter to the Internet Archive in San Francisco's Presidio. The agency was demanding records on one of the archive's patrons. Now, Internet Archive says the F.B.I. has settled the lawsuit, and agreed to withdraw the letter and unseal the court case.
