Apple Moth Ruling
A California judge today dealt a major setback to the state's plans to control the light brown apple moth. The judge ruled that aerial spraying cannot begin in Santa Cruz County until state agricultural officials do a full environmental review of their anti-pest program. Also today, the Governor postponed any aerial spraying to curtail the moth until mid August.
