Marine Protected Areas
It's Earth Day, and the health of the planet was on the agenda today at a Department of Fish and Game meeting on marine reserves. A blue ribbon task force held hearings on three plans, all of which would create large, state managed marine reserves from Point Arena in Mendocino to Pescadero in San Mateo County.
