Cleaning Up Hunters Point
The former Navy Shipyard in Hunters Point sits on the southeastern edge of San Francisco. It's the city's largest piece of unused real estate and part of a massive redevelopment plan. It could be the future home of the San Francisco '49ers. But it's also one of biggest cleanup projects that the Navy faces.
